‘Big people like you’ was created for a recent exhibition in Bristol curated by Kid crayon featuring some amazing artists, the exhibition was based around the anime movie and comic book ‘Akira’.
My piece for the show was designed around the hallucination scene where the kids aka the ‘weirdos’ try to scare Tetsuo and realise his strength “Big people like you shouldn’t have these powers” they utter in fear.
*Due to the print nature of the risograph some editions may be different to the others and care should be given when handling as the nature of riso prints may smudge or mark …this gives these prints a much more authenticate comic book feel.
